The Story Behind Our Upper Peninsula Collection

What began as a simple painting on my husband's new camper van soon became something much bigger.

As snowbirds, we spend our summers exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Munising, Michigan, and our winters in sunny Arizona. Before one of our first adventures, I decided to transform our van into a rolling canvas by painting scenes inspired by the places we love.

Wherever we traveled, people stopped to admire the artwork. They asked about the paintings, wanted prints, and encouraged me to create more. What started as a single painting quickly grew into a collection celebrating the beauty, history, and spirit of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Today, the collection includes original artwork, postcards, a children's coloring book featuring Munising scenes, stationery, gifts, and outdoor-inspired merchandise. I'm honored that my work is now featured in several local stores throughout Munising, allowing visitors to take home a meaningful piece of the Upper Peninsula.

Every design is created to capture not just a destination, but the memories, adventures, and stories that make each place unforgettable.
